Sat 10 Oct 2009  League
Quayside Thistle 0
East Dunbartonshire Amateurs 2

Kevin Humpherson (1)

The Shire harboured themselves to the top of the league with a fantastic away win against Quayside Thistle. Every player played their part with an outstanding defensive display from The Goalie Tucker, Mark, Donnie, Anton and Man of the Match Hammy. The Ledge and Sean lead the line superbly especially in the first half with Ross at his outstanding best with his tantalising runs.
The Shire lead one nil at half time after great work down the wing from Skipper Ross forced an og from Quayside. This was a hard fought game with Quayside not given a quarter but the Shire finished the game when Kev finished after a great pass from Aaron. A brilliant team performance and a well deserved 3 points from the Shire against a very good Quayside team . Monn The Shire !
