EDFC played well in first half, some good passing movement and keen determination from lads to do well in their first game of new season. The game was goalless for 15 mins before Sean broke the deadlock with a good opportunists prod from a free ball in the penalty box. Scott showed good persistence down the right before cutting inside and his toe poke seemed to by-pass Sean and also elude the keeper and into the net.
Matthew took a left sided role and latched onto 2 similar opportunities from good build up play from Andrew putting him through to finish very well on both occasions.

Second Half saw the link up play not being as well formed as the first half efforts and possession was lost in defence on several occasions which saw Liam the goalkeeper having to produce some good saves from Lenzie attacks.
Scott went close with a good right foot shot that hit the post from outside the area. Best goal of the game came from Dylan after some good play on the right when he hit a soaring shot into the left hand top corner to make it 5-0.

Sean made it six as the game drew near to the end with a smart shot low into the net.
Lenzie pulled one back in the dying minutes due to EDFC not clearing their lines and Liam could do nothing with a solidly hit curving shot that made it 6 – 1.
