These two teams always put on a great show and this was no exception!
Lenzie were very strong in midfield and took a deserved lead from a goal mouth scamble
with the ball just over the line. Kenneth was in fine form in goal with Matthew and Ross strong at the back. EDFC scored from a corner with Matthew's header just crossing the line to make it 1-1.
Paul and Jordan combined well in the middle however Lenzie were unlucky not to score from a great header.
Into the second half and Lenzie went 2-1 up with a great solo effort. Ciaran then pulled one back for EDFC before Nathan and then Lewis Burns made great blocks at the back. As the game wore on both teams had chances to win it but it was EDFC who scored through a determined Michael Lyons.
Another good passing game between two well matched teams.
